Giovanna A. Miller is a passionate, skilled and zealous advocate who has dedicated her career to serving the community and protecting the rights of others. She has significant experience in criminal law and civil litigation and has independently handled hundreds of trials before judges and juries. Ms. Miller’s legal practice is primarily focused on civil rights, employment law and criminal defense. Her civil rights and employment practice has an emphasis on employment discrimination, workplace harassment and wage and hour violations. Ms. Miller has an expansive criminal defense practice. She has handled an array of criminal matters to include violent offenses, weapons crimes, drug offenses, child abuse, sex offenses, property crimes and serious motor vehicle violations.

Prior to joining Zipin, Amster & Greenberg, LLC, Ms. Miller served as an Assistant Public Defender. Before joining the Office of the Public Defender, Ms. Miller was an Assistant State’s Attorney and a Law Clerk for The Honorable Nicholas E. Rattal of the Circuit Court for Prince George’s County, Maryland.

Ms. Miller is a Maryland native and currently resides in Montgomery County.
